Levee & Loam Wines come from a place deeply rooted in California’s history, a history as rich as the soil is for planting.
Levee & Loam celebrates the microclimate and viticulture created by the levees of the Sacramento Delta, where vines thrive in the exposed, fertile loam, nurtured by ample sun and cooling delta breezes. As much grown as made, our family of wines embodies a balanced and food-friendly approach, with nuanced flavors and refreshing acidity, subtlety over capacity, sip by sip. 
"We experience a Mediterranean-style climate of warm, dry summers and cool, wet winters. By contrast, cool winds off the Pacific Ocean travel inland over a network of waterways (Levees) that act as a natural air conditioner, helping grapes maintain vigorous acidity. Together, geography and climate provide us the unique ability to grow an unusually diverse range of wine grapes. Though sometimes perceived as a hot-climate region, in reality, average temperatures are similar to or even lower than other well-known regions like Healdsburg, St. Helena and Paso Robles.  Our diverse soils (Loam) were formed thousands of years ago through geological events and alluvial waters gifting us regional soils such as Tokay Fine Sandy Loam, Tuscan Stony Loam, San Joaquin Loam, and Archerdale Clay Loam."  

L&L Meritage
Aged 18 months+ French oak
Reveals the art of a good Bordeaux style blend!
The goal is to build a wine with silky texture, complexity, and robust structure. 
Cabernet Sauvignon & Petit Verdot give textural base, while dollops of Malbec & Cabernet Franc add complexity and richness.
This BIG blend shows a firm entry of wild berry fruit, ample tannins, with a graceful & seamless finish!
Enjoy with smoked meats, lamb shanks and vegetable ragout.

L&L Cabernet Sauvignon
Velvety smooth and delicious! 
This Cab pours ready-to-drink,
invites a 2nd sip and then some!
Notes of ripe blackberries, blueberries, hints of cassis, bramble and plush tannins.
All wrapped around a judicious influence of
French oak! 
Enjoy with grilled pork chops, smashburgers & hard cheeses.

Dark ruby color. Light to medium bodied with aromas and ripe flavors of raspberry, tart cherry, spice with a touch of earth.
Supple and balanced with a smooth finish.

L&L Chardonnay 
Rediscover Cali Chardonnay!
Clean, crisp and refreshing...
with just a kiss of oak!
Medium bodied, showing notes of citrus, honeysuckle and ripe apple! 
Flavors include Anjou pear, lemon zest,
and a hint of pineapple!
This is balanced, delicious and food friendly.
Enjoy with lemon pepper salmon, chicken schnitzel, light pasta dishes, halibut or seafood chowder!

L&L Sauvignon Blanc 
The elusive balance between old and new world styles!
Classic Sancerre-like minerality, citrus and herbs, 
while a riper portion contributes a complex medley of tropical fruits, green apple and pear.
The combo creates a wine that is light, crisp, flavor intensive with a touch of creaminess!
Pair with fresh goat cheese, shucked raw oysters, linguini & clams.
