Pierre Chainier
Pierre Chainier is a respected Loire Valley négociant and producer, sourcing grapes from sustainably farmed vineyards across the region. 
Known for offering wines that are true to their appellation and varietal character, the house focuses on precision and consistency to deliver approachable, high-quality wines.
“Les Calcaires”, refers to fossil rich calcareous limestone which helps to form some of the best wine-making terroir in central and Northern France. 
These alkaline limestone soils help impart balance and minerality to the resulting wines.

Les Calcaires Chardonnay 
Well balanced between fruit and acidity, revealing white flowers and citrus fruit aromas. 
Perfect chilled as an apéritif, alongside poultry dishes, cheese and charcuterie! 

Les Calcaires Sauvignon Blanc 
Opens with an intense nose of candied lemon and grapefruit, followed by delicate herbal tones that add lift and aromatic finesse. 
On the palate, it is crisp and finely textured, with a clean mineral line that guides a refreshing, mouthfeel with great precision and a long, quenching finish.
Elegant and versatile, it is ideal for seafood and relaxed dining!

Les Calcaires Pinot Noir 
Smooth and supple, bursting with juicy, crunchy berry flavors with a hint of warm spice.
A touch of oak influence adds complexity, complemented by a lightly grippy, fresh finish. 
Best enjoyed young to capture its vibrant freshness and lively character! 
This wine exemplifies the elegance and approachability of Loire Valley Pinot Noir.
To fully appreciate its aromatic nuances and refreshing qualities, serve this slightly chilled, at a temperature between 14°C and 16°C (57°F to 61°F). 
Using medium-sized red wine glasses will help concentrate the aromas and enhance the tasting experience. 

Château Hyot Castillon, Côtes de Bordeaux
Merlot dominated, with intense color with ruby reflections.
Nose of black fruit, blackberry, blackcurrant, blueberry with toasted notes. 
Authenticity of the terroir through the tannic structure and fruitiness of the wine. 
The nature of the sandy-gravelly soil acts as a flavor enhancer and is found in the minerality of this wine.

65% Merlot 20% Cabernet Franc 15% Cabernet Sauvignon 
From 45-65 year old vines in blue clay along St Emilion plateau, 12 months of French oak with 30% new. 
An opaque, black purple red hue in the glass, delivering notes of red plum, cedar, vanilla, cassis and cream.
